"Fibromyalgia is a very frustrating illness. In the past, I was told I could not possibly be in so much pain and be so tired. When I did find a Doctor who called it Fibromyalgia, I was given Narcotics. I did not like that approach. Dr. Radoff gave me hope that something else could be done.

He helped me figure out that so many of my different symptoms and syndromes actually fit a pattern, and they all fell into line with the diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. I started doing IV Therapy and Homeopathic supplements. Over time, I was not getting sick nearly as often.

"My name is Jeannine Q. and I live in Indiana. My sister lives in Arizona. She had gone to Dr. Radoff and was very impressed with him and his staff. During one of her office visits, Dr. Radoff had inquired about my sister’s family and she had mentioned the problems that I have had over the years……..Anemia, Endometriosis, and Infertility. To my surprise, he had told my sister that he would like to try to help me.

In December 2005, Dr. Radoff had discovered that I had Hashimoto’s disease which went undetected previously, and I was also suffering from hypothyroidism which also went undetected in the fertility clinic that I attended. "I want to let anyone know who reads this letter the positive results of alternative medicine is for the continued health of your life.

In 1997 I was diagnosed with “severe advanced cardiomyopathy” – in layman’s words- the left side of my heart was enlarged, was damaged and would not get better. For three years, I led a life of severe illness.  I was pale in features and looked sick.  I couldn’t walk from my living room to my bathroom and not be able to breath.  I was limited to any housework; lifting, physical activities were decreased to none, as my heart was too weak.  My heart doctor told me the grim news that I would have five good years and then would probably have to face the facts of a heart transplant in my near future.

I then met Dr. Geoffrey Radoff of Alternative Medical Care of Arizona.  He too told me the grim news that my heart was damaged and there was nothing he could do about that. HOWEVER, by using his homeopathic procedure he could balance the rest of my body, all of my major body organs, so that my heart did not have to work as hard.

"Several years ago, I had come to the ‘end of my rope'!  I had gone to six different doctors in search of why I didn’t feel good – chronic fatigue, painful joints, sweating abnormalities, sever allergy symptoms and a deep bronchial cough that would not go away.  As the old year ended, I was determined to find the correct diagnosis in the coming new year of 2004.  I had learned of Dr. Radoff and his practice from the chiropractor that I had been going to at the time.  I thought perhaps the best of both worlds – traditional medicine as well as homeopathic medicine might help me find some answers once and for all!  And, that is just what happened. 

Dr. Radoff reviewed my most recent labs and recommended that I have a three-hour Glucose tolerance Test. "Seeing the positive changes in L. Shields’ heath was an encouragement for me to seek out some of my own concerns regarding my health.  Over several months, Dr. Radoff gathered data of my symptoms.  I had been experiencing fatigue, decreased motivation, muscle/joint aches, insomnia and memory loss.  At this point, I had blamed it all on working too many hours at my job.  When I couldn’t remember the motel room where my wife and I wee staying for a week-end get-away or where I had put something the day before, ready to find it in the morning.  I knew that something more than overworking was the problem. 

Dr. Radoff began running some tests.  As a result, he diagnosed me as having Wilson’s Syndrome.  This condition involves a disorder where the cells of the body are unable to convert the inactive thyroid hormone, T4, into the more active hormone, T3.  Wilson’s syndrome itself does not alter the thyroid hormone tests.  As a result, this condition may not be readily diagnosed.  I am thankful to Dr. Radoff for his knowledge of this syndrome, as I could be sitting in a nursing home with visitors coming to visit me and wondering, 'What happened to the Ray that I once knew?'"
